I like small talk even though some people perceive it as a dull social obligation, devoid of substance. The ubiquity of weather conversations places them in this category. This series takes the opposite approach, giving weather talk due attention, considering its role as a rare communal human experience and a potential gateway to something deeper.

In ‘Weather’, seemingly trivial statements about the weather are visually elevated. Their substance and simplicity speak to the truth that, although mundane, weather is a collective observation that gives us a way to better understand and connect with one another.
